What you need to know: I am a graduate of the greatest university in all of the land, the University of Georgia! I am also currently enrolled in UGA’s MEd English Education. This is my first year teaching and I am so excited to serve my students at Lakeside High School in Evans, GA for the 2022-2023 school year and hopefully many more after that.

A little bit more about Mrs. Gerlach: Mrs. Gerlach is a Teacher Candidate, emerging novelist, and Gilmore Girls aficionado. Based in Augusta, Georgia, Mrs. Gerlach lives with her husband and two fur-babies Captain and Thor – her motivators and encouragers throughout all she does in life.

Most Days you can find Mrs. Gerlach teaching high school students, working on assignments, working on grading, or at home reading on the couch with Gilmore Girls playing in the background with a cup of decaf coffee in hand.
